Why I am dropping that expensive floral software.

Um, Sale. Enough said.

Um, Sale. Enough said.

OK, so in all transparency, I despise doing proposals for brides, events and pretty much any other reason I have to do some computer work. I put it off, I procrastinate, I take LITERALLY forever to make them pretty and perfect. Why?! Just to get them volley balled back at me with a spike of changes, fixes and updates to make. I am typing this mid-winter break week. My kids are off school and I should be taking them out to the park, or to the zoo or anything. But, no. I have been relentlessly pumping out the quotes. I have to finish booking this wedding season. I know you feel me. I am close, but I have to be completely booked this season…as I quit my side job in January.

All this talk. What have I tried, well, all of them. I have tried numerous CRM (customer relation management) software. Honeybook (link to my Honeybook review), 12 hats, hubspot, and free trials of literally every floral software (details, bloomtrac, curate) available to us.

Then cue the trumpets. DUBSADO. Yeah, its an odd name. I am telling you though, it is amazing. I have been using it for my clients for over a year now, and every one of them loves how nice and easy my process is. Check out who they are below:

They have so many videos to learn how to use DUBSADO. It is just fabulous for a visual learner. I plan on soon showing off my process and how to customize for a florist!

  • workflows, easy to make questionnaires, automated emails, emails through your domain!!! (Not signed by the honeybook team), integrates with Quickbooks, Built in scheduler, Custom branding (zero dubsado logos on your stuff), No additional processing fees, upload whole files, contract signatures, recurring payment/customization, and so so much more.

I know some of the CRM’s do a lot of these things, but not all of them. Dubsado is super powerful! I have barely scratched the surface of it. Right now, in my workflows. I am creating a proposal template that is so much more hands-off. Why not put the process more in the clients hands? My plan is to give them a couple choices in each category, or the ability to select something more custom with one click. I have a template I snagged from my girls Abagail and Emylee at Boss project.

They also include a walkthru tutorial for getting it started.

I use and love dubsado. This is an affiliate link, I do get a bonus if you decide to purchase.

In short, the only thing I am missing that the florist software did offer was the ordering…which I found to be so terribly hard to get set up anyways. I went about 2 years on bloomtrac not even touching that side of it. It just required so much work on my end. I honestly have just been doing my ordering/procurement on a spreadsheet, but that’s for next time. I promise I will share soon.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you use Dubsado, or if you’re just tired of the florist software prices I would love to hear from you.
